Bigg Boss is a reality TV programme broadcast in India. It follows the Big Brother format, which was first developed by Endemol in the Netherlands .
Concept:
Bigg Boss is a reality show where celebrity contestants stay in a single house for about three months, with no connection to the outside world. They are overseen by a mysterious person known as 'Bigg Boss', whose only presence in the house is through his voice.
The House:A Bigg Boss House is built for every season. The house is located in the tourist place of Lonavala, Pune district of Maharashtra. The house is well-furnished and decorated. It has all kinds of modern amenities, but just one or two bedrooms and four toilet bath rooms. There is a garden, pool, activity area and gym in the House. There is also a Confession Room, where the housemates may be called in by Bigg Boss for any kind of conversation, and for the nomination process .

The 5th House : As excitement builds up around the new season of Bigg Boss, we bring you a sneak peek into the interiors and many features of the famed house.
The house is built in Karjat, 90 km from Mumbai at ND Studio. The 9000 sq ft property comes with great surprises this season. The outer area ringed by cameras is around 5,500 sq ft. There are 55 cameras and 60 microphones installed on the property.
The house looks very compact, leaving barely enough space for the housemates to spend time by themselves. But after last year's drama involving a single bedroom for the house's 14 housemates, this season the house has two separate bedrooms.
The Jail:The jail is back! Double Vaat means punishments galore and the bad guy will surely get locked up.
The kitchen sink has been placed in the garden area to irk the housemates.
The Zorb : An addition to the house is the Zorb, a transparent orb like enclosure in the garden area specially created for the Head-of-House where entry is 'by invitation only'.
Now the Head-of-House can spend quality time with his/her confidantes and plot some much-expected manipulation.
